Discuss your thoughts on taking Test #4. Were you prepared for it? If so, what strategies did you use as part of your preparation? If you were not prepared for it, what will you do next time to ensure that you do well on the test?
I found test four to be really difficult. Mostly because i had waited last minute to do it. I didn't know that this type of essay required this much background information.I looked up a lot of info before I started to write my essay. I know now not to procrastinate, especially when it comes to writing argumentative essays. Next time, I will do my background information about a week and a half prior to writing the draft essay. Then I can have it peer reviewed and turn it in for my final essay.
Test #4 was immensely difficult. I did not know that it contained an extra paragraph than the normal essay. I had to read different argumentative essays to get the picture.
Test four was a very challenging struggle for me to type. An argumentative essay deals with a lot of research and I should have not waited till the last minute to do my essay. I'm glad I had the four major essay to go back to and review what the essay is all about and what I needed to make a proper argumentative essay. Since I was not fully prepared to type my essay I will be sure not to procrastinate especially for a more difficult subject such as this one.
The researching was not a great experience for me either. It took a great deal of my time. I think I even felt what it was like to be brain dead. Final exam, please do us good.
The research was not really an issue for me but the compilation was. Trying to get all the necessary information in on pages was extremely challenging.
I took quite a while deciding what topic I was really interested in. I wanted not just any topic to talk about. I wanted an issue that I could justify and support with the debate in the Persuasive Essay. I read a lot of articles about bills passing a law to offer free tuition for their state residents. I heard some European cities that offer free higher education to their people. I felt as if I was prepared for the essay. I read many opinions from other experts.
I found test number four very difficult. I had a hard time picking a good topic with what was provided. I also had a hard time putting together the argumentative essay. I wish that I did not procrastinate and worked more on the argumentative essay.This essay literally frustrated me all night. I am glad that i got this essay over and done with though.
I enjoyed the challenge presented with test 4. My topic was very intense and complex but extremely interesting to say the least. I started working on my essay 2 weeks prior and still found myself running short on time. All I can say is that I tried my best and could definitely use more practice.
Taking the in class essay was quite a challenge, but I must say lesson learned on not to procrastinate. ( Which I tell myself not to do but do it anyways.) At least i tried my best! I also like that we were able to talk about our end of the year party.
I thought today's assignment was extremely difficult especially without written sources. I tried to use citation and facts to prove me thesis. It was hard writing down facts of the top of my head. In the end, I was able to explore child custody both maternally and paternally. Fathers have an important role in a child's life in regards to receiving higher education.
Text number 4 was really difficult for me. I should've been more prepared for it. Also, I kind of procrastinated which put more stress on me. However, I really liked the challenge. This essay really taught me a lot about my topic.
I also really enjoyed listening to other peoples topics. The topic that I was most interested in was people over 70 years of age should take a drivers test or should be tested. I strongly agree with this topic.
I wonder who else procrastinated. With the amount of research that is required, I think even starting on the test a week before its due, is still procrastinating.
Boy wasn't test 4 a challenge! I had the hardest time with this essay compared to the other essays we were assigned. I had all the research, it was mainly WRITING the paper and making sure it doesn't turn into an informative paper. I learned, though, that with an argumentative paper, Yu must choose a point to prove pertaining to the topic and use facts as bullets targeting a counter argument.
Test 4 was the hardest essay I have ever written. I was unprepared again, and learned my lesson again that I shouldn't procrastinate. Listing down references was hard, because I did not do that much research. I enjoyed the topic I wrote about, because I can relate to it. But writing the essay itself was difficult. I did not really know how to start off my essay and how to talk about my topic. It is 11:53 PM.
Test # 4 was a style of essay to debate about your side, but present the other side as well. I thought I was prepared, but I guess I was not. This style of essay needed many statistics which I did not provide. What a bumper! Well, this is a lesson learned and next time I will know what to do!

The topic I chose was a topic I had running through my mind for quite some time. This essay required a lot of research and a lot of statistics. This essay made me very stressed because I did not know where to begin and where to end.
Test for took a lot of time to write. I thought two pages was not enough after I put together all my research. And this is not including my opinions. However, I learned that both sides for an argumentative essay are very important especially when your approach is very strong and convincing to the reader. It was a great experience writing this essay even though is was stressful.
