We have all waited for this moment all our lives, well maybe not all our lives but it feels like it's been forever. I don't know about you guys but I've been counting the months, days and weeks we had left until summer approaches and of course until I passed this course. This semester has been a drag and I'm kind of glad it's over. I have had a lot of fun in this class. I will surely miss everyone that I will be leaving behind, but I hope in the next semesters to come that we are classmates again. Thank you Dr. Rivera for all that you have taught us and for guiding us into becoming better writers. And Good luck to everyone in your future endeavors.
ReplyDeleteSurely, we all did. However, I believe we all would miss having each other as classmates and all the foolishness we all had in class. I too am very thankful for having such a great instructor who guided me through all the lessons needed to be learned throughout the semester. I will definitely use it in my future classes or career.
DeleteThis semester was a drag for me as well, but now that it is over, I feel like I'm going to miss every experience that I had.
DeleteThis was a great semester and I believe that I learned a lot. It was good practice to strengthen my essay writing. Not only academics, but friendships were made this semester as well. It was fun to read aloud and do the exercises.
ReplyDeleteI agree I too would miss the class reading and fooling around. I learned all the different types of essays and I gained a lot of confidence from this class. All the brain structures made me learn a lot and comfortable when speaking in front of the class.
DeleteReading aloud in class and do the essay brain structures was fun. It was a good practice and was something that helped everybody comfortable when speaking in front of the class.
DeleteI loved how we were all able to break out of shells and speak out in front of the class on a daily basis.
DeleteJoseph, I agree we had a great semester together. I think that we all enjoyed seeing each other and sharing in class. It seems like it was only yesterday when we were saying our names before reading to get acquainted. It was fun to participate in all the activities together. Lot of people had to break out of their shells! It is great to see people flourish.
DeleteThis semester was one of the memorable semester I would always remember. A lot of incidents happened and I am very thankful that I had the chance to know people. It was a pleasure knowing you guys and how foolish others can be. Usually a person can have a bad day, but in this class there is always a room for laughter. Hearing every bodies good byes were a bit sad that we might not be seeing each other more often, but that's life. I hope the best for every one and hope we all use what we learned in this course in the future. God bless us all.
ReplyDeleteI agree. It was sad having to say our final goodbyes to everybody. Everyone was being friendly and there is always room for laughter. Even more our professor was awesome she made the semester the best of all. Thank you again Dr. Rivera. God bless you!
DeleteI have to admit, hearing the goodbyes and the prayer was the saddest part, but the goodbye song and Barry's comments was a good way to start out my day. Although I was bummed out about all my finals falling on the same day, this class really cheered me up :)
DeleteBasleen, it is amazing to see how confident you became: I love it! I hope you continue sharing your opinion openly. I appreciated the experiences you shared. It is so good to hear something different than ourselves. Your outlook makes us appreciate the good moments even more. Good luck!
DeleteAs we go on our separate ways, I would just like to wish you all good luck! After the many days of writing and reading and so on, we have finally made it. It was fun having you all as fellow classmates. And thank you Dr. Rivera for your guidance. And for sharing with us your knowledge. It has definitely been a blast with you all. I won't say good bye but, see you around. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was great having this class. Probably if I did not take this class, I would not know much about writing essays. Having this class was a good choice for me to make. Especially, I was more of a keep to myself person, but now I speak comfortably.
DeleteIt was really fun to share time together. We are lucky that we had Dr. Rivera guide us and challenge us. See you around. Good luck.
DeleteI want to start off by Thanking Dr. Rivera for being a mentor and keeping us focus in class. You taught us how to use the 4 different types of essay and strengthen our morale. You made our class become a better team toward the end and I thank you. Our class was a excellent one because we pulled together and we came out as better students. We started together and we finished together. Thank you to all my peers. Continue to strive for excellence towards your goal because I will do the same. Thank you and God Bless You. Barry Munoz
ReplyDeleteThank you and like wise for every one. I too am very thankful to have such an amazing teacher who not only taught us language arts, but also how to get along with one another. We learned how to become a team by working and getting to know one another. This is a structure that I hope my future instructors would apply as. Thank you again and hope the best for every body and hope we all can surpass every obstacle that is headed our way.
DeleteThis semester I have learned so much and I thank Dr. Rivera for that. I hope I will use what I learned in the future. For our fellow classmate, it wasn't enough time for us to get to know each other better but I enjoyed being in this class with every single one of you. Good luck everyone as you walk your journey through life and have a great summer! God bless you all!
ReplyDeleteWe all started off shy in our writing but grew more confident of the skills that we acquired during this semester. I enjoyed all our classmates too. Enjoy your summer too! I know you will ;-)
DeleteThis class has taught me so much from coming up with simple details and turning it into a one of the four major essays. This class has helped me become better at speaking in front of crowd. Also, it was the only class that I didn't have to read on my own for, which I never did. Truth be told, this is probably the only class that I focused so much to putting an effort into getting an A. Thank you Dr. Rivera for being one of the most lenient professors. I really appreciated having each and everyone of you as a classmate and good luck.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe this is the last time I am going to tell something to my EN100-07 classmates, and to our dear Dr. Rivera; It has been the most pleasurable and useful experience in UOG. I am very glad I switched to this class at the start of the semester from section 13. I am very happy to see that everyone had a good experience and learned as the time went by. We are all taking our knowledge with us, and we can all think back one day where we started, together, as Dr. Rivera's students.
ReplyDeleteI wish everyone the best, especially in the academic realm.
Thank you Dr. Rivera for being a great mentor in preparing us for writing in the future. Thank you class mates for keeping class interesting as well. (Y'all stay cool). I have learned many things that helped make writing easy. I'm excited to apply what I've learned in this class to my classes in the future. But for now we can all relax because it's summer! Have a safe summer everyone and god bless!
ReplyDeleteIt has been a great semester having you all as classmates. I am thankful for all that I have have learned from professor Rivera and even my fellow classmates. Hopefully in the future we will meet again as successful people, because then we truly have taken in what we have learned. Thank you all once again
